Problems with Office package - installation / activation ?
Usually most problems of activation or installation occur when an old or different office version is still present on the platform. Sometimes when people buy a brand new or recently purchased laptop, they forget that a trial version of office was installed with the Windows installation. This obviously causes conflicts.

Sometimes with a brand new or recently purchased laptop, people forget that a trial version of office was installed along with the Windows installation. This obviously causes conflicts.
If you do forget to check first and then enter the key vialink, it may say that key is already in use, this is because the key is already ready in your Microsoft account. Click on Microsoft my account link below and then click on Services and subscriptions at the top menu. There you will find the purchased software and the Install link. Click on that and download/install the software.

Examples of errors :
- For example, you get error message Error code 30182-1 (2).
- Office wants to install only 32-bit and gives you a message
- Your office request behind an email address for activation
- You do not get Office activated or the key appears incorrect.
All these errors can be solved by uninstalling old or different Office versions.
Want to check that you are working with the correct Office version , go to File - Account and in the right column you will see your version of Office and its activation.
