How to Activate Windows with a Product Key from CD-Keys

Hey there!

Are you planning to activate your Windows with a product key purchased from cd-keys.uk?
That is a good choice! After all, these digital keys can save you a lot of time and money. But, as with many technological processes, sometimes error codes can occur during activation. But don't worry, I'll help you through it!

Known Error Codes and How to Fix Them

During the activation process, you may encounter several error codes. Here are the most common ones and how to resolve them:

1. 0xc004c008
   • Solution: This means the key has been used before. Don't panic, you can activate it over the phone.
   • Roadmap: (See roadmap at the bottom of this article!)
     1. Open the Settings in Windows.
     2. Go to Update and Security.
     3. Click Activation and choose Troubleshooting.
     4. Then you can choose Phone Activation and follow the instructions.
   • ? No need to contact us for this error.
2. 0x803fa067
   • Solution: Most likely you are using an upgrade key. Look at the bottom of your order email for the correct key and use it.
   • ? You can solve this yourself, so no need to contact us.
3. 0xC004C060
   • Solution: This error usually means there is something wrong with the key itself.
   • Action: Please contact our customer service via the contact page. Send us the error message, your key and a screenshot. We will look into this further for you.

Notice:

(Windows 10/11) Phone Activation

1. Hold down the Windows button and the R button to open the Run window.

Note: Another way to access Windows is from the Windows 10 platform start menu.

2. In the Run window, write the following command: SLUI 4.

3. Press the Enter button on the keyboard.

4. You now have a phone activation window in front of you.

5. In the window, you need to choose the country from which you registered.

6. Call the activation number after dialing the country.

7. After you dial the number, you will be prompted to write your installation ID.

Note: Type the installation ID into your phone.

8. After you type in the installation ID, you will be asked how many copies of Windows are installed with this key and must choose 1. If you choose any other option, it will not work.

Note: The option 1 you chose means you only used it once.

9. After performing the above steps, you should get a confirmation ID and then you are ready to go with a workable product key.

A customer sent us this info because apparently through the text message link does not work but audio activation does.

I activated the product via phone, but throughthe AUDIO activation, and not through the SMS link I received, which redirected me to an online form activation.
